aaron and miranda | las vegas destination wedding photographer

Although I no longer shoot weddings, I couldn’t help myself when my brother-in-law decided to get married in Las Vegas, I had to bring my gear, and I’m SO glad I did! I was worried a bit about the time of day as we had the party bus from 2-5 in potentially full sun and not having any idea where to go, ha. But, thanks to my hair stylist (Kathy!) at The Golden Nugget salon, we narrowed in on some pretty fantastic spots paired with a storm rolling in provided the occasional cloud, made for some pretty fun and perfect photo opportunities. (sadly those storm clouds forced the ceremony indoors, but all was still beautiful!)

So, enough about me and my lighting and location needs, ha, more on this beautiful couple. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing brother-in-law when I married my husband. Well, and I knew Aaron long before then playing volleyball together, but pretty happy that I can call him family. Fast forward several years and we meet Miranda. (I’ll admit we stalked her out one night at their softball game just to see who this ‘chick’ was, ha) She was an instant hit with us, and maybe more importantly, our boys. She’s perfect, we love her, and we are beyond happy to officially welcome her into the family.

We love you, Aaron and Miranda! Thank you for allowing us to share in your special day, we had an amazing time in Las Vegas celebrating with you!

These photos were in their bridal suite. Seriously. Two levels, grand staircase, it was so beautiful! I’ve always wanted to stay in an uber posh/cool hotel room, but, they probably didn’t want a roommate this trip…

Same location as the colorful wall, just the actual museum building. Classic!

This was at the Springs Preserve and the storm was VERY close to rolling in…I believe it even started to sprinkle as we were taking our last photos, but such a fun little spot. Would have loved to explore more but we wanted to beat the storm to head to the Las Vegas sign!

Congrats again, Aaron and Miranda. LOVE you!

PS – another disclaimer that I no longer photograph weddings, unless you want to fly me to warm and/or tropical destinations, I’m all in :)
