Yesterday I had the pleasure of capturing jen + josh’s big day in Sioux Falls, SD. Jen and I used to work together a number of years ago so I was absolutely beyond excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding. Bonus, my best friend, Angie, came along to assist, she also used to work with Jen.
Jen was absolutely STUNNING. She also did a pretty amazing job planning her wedding. There were so many lovely details along the way, from a handmade (by herself, which she finished only hours before the groom’s supper!) shawl for her, mittens for her bridesmaids, hats for the men and the band at the reception was awesome.
It should also be on record that it was 50+ degrees yesterday. On December 1st. In the midwest. I have a feeling many snowy, below zero December days in years ahead it will be hard to look back and believe it was December!
